In realtà entrambi ti fanno vivere un'avventura, in modi diversi ma è l'elemento che cerco (infatti sto valutando pure Folklore The Affliction, che potrei però avere subito).

Poi andando nello specifico, League of Dungeoneer mi attira perché mi riporterebbe un po' ai trascorsi dungeondragoneschi, oltre che avere potenzialmente giocabilità illimitata (immagino che da questo punto di vista DreamEscape, anche andando all-in di contenuto ad un certo punto si esaurisce e al massimo lo rigiochi rivedendo tante cose già viste, o spendi un botto per prendere gli altri 3 capitoli che usciranno, un po' come Arkham Horror LCG... da cui appunto mi sono tenuto lontanissimo).

Però è vero che il mio pallino è recuperare Machina Arcana, che è il gioco che mi ha portato a conoscere e approfondire i giochi da tavolo (ero fermo a HeroQuest 20 anni fa.. e lesolite partite Cluedo - Scotland Yard - Monopoli negli anni successivi), ma che non riesco a trovare al prezzo giusto (per quanto lo adori non lo strapagherò), e Folklore The Affliction, e ho appena recuperato Massive Darkness 2 a prezzaccio su Amazon, per cui con questa spesa di 150 potrei completare la mia ricerca di questi due giochi e avere comunque centinaia di ore di gioco, però più vario...

Dove sarà più economicamente vantaggioso acquistare?

Per avere un metro di paragone, ad oggi l'all in della V1 di LoD sullo store sta a 180€ + s.s. , solo per gli USA.
Quanto veniva il KS dell'all in per noi italiani?

Guarda, non so se ti può aiutare come esempio, ma su Philibert, il KS ALL INN della prima campagna, si trova a 195€ vat e ss incluse.

Ti posso rispondere con l'esperienza della prima campagna del KS. Il costo del KS è stato all'incirca di 215€ (esclusi PDF da acquistare a parte). Con Weega il costo fu di circa 185€ (esclusi PDF da acquistare a parte)

Nella prima campagna non è stato possibile acquistare il gioco in retail in Europa dalla casa editrice. In Europa o partecipavi al KS o dovevi acquistarlo da qualche negozio (vedi il suggerimento di Talbain).

Nota: alla cifra dei 180$ + s.s. dello store USA devi aggiungere anche 15$ per il PDF del regolamento che in quest'ultima campagna è incluso.

Pledge Manager about to open​

Hi fellow Dungeoneers! The setup for the Pledge Manager is now finished and is submitted for approval. Once it’s been approved by Gamefound, I’ll send out an invite.

RETAIL backers (IMPORTANT READ!)
Since the retail packages are really, really big, the normal shipping does not apply. Instead, I would like to individually quote each retail pledge as I think it will save you money in the end. Therefore, at this stage, your shipping will show up as zero (0). In order to get an accurate quote, it's important that you add any extra boxes at this stage, and preferably pretty soon.

I will then come back to you as soon as I get a quote from GamesQuest who will be handling the shipping.

Other backers (not backing as a company)
At this stage you will be requested to fill in your shipping location. Based on this, shipping and VAT will be calculated and charged. Though the Pledge Manager is likely to be open until the beginning of January, I suggest finishing this as soon as possible. I had a few straddlers in the last campaign and it complicates things for everyone involed.

I'd also like to comment on the VAT as there were plenty of questions during the last campaign. VAT is charged by all countries in Europe. It's a fixed percentage of the value of the purchas (and shipping) and the exact percentage differs from country to country. If you are unsure, you can google the VAT percentage in your country. This is something I have to charge as I later have to submit that money to your country of origin. Some campaigns might not show the VAT explicitly which might make you think that it's something that can be dodged, but alas, it's not. In such cases, they have already included an average of the VAT in every pledge.

Last but not least, some countries like Norway, Switzerland and Lichtenstein may charge you customs fees once the package passes the border. I will NOT charge VAT for those countries, and instead this will be settled between you and your government via the customs fee.

I'm not sure what the transaction will look like on your bank slip. It could be Gamefound, von Braus Publishing or even Michael Lundstedt.

Cancelations and refunds
If you for some reason want a refund, this is still possible. Since I've paid Gamefound and VISA for the transactions of your pledge, I will however only be able to provide a 92% refund at this point.

During the last campaing, some backers decided to contact their bank and claim Fraud instead of canceling. Though this will also get you your money back, I beg you to not do this. The amount of work it creates for me is just silly. On top of that, I have to pay an administrative fee to the bank which is pretty steep. I lost quite a lot of money on this last time.

Trust me, I will not be mad if you request a refund. Just shoot me an email and we'll fix it the normal way instead! (I will be pretty mad though if I get more fraud charges...). If we've passed the point where I can no longer give you a refund (due to me having ordered your game from the manufacturer and paid for it to be shipped across the oceans), then I ask you to own the decision of buying the product instead of going down the fraud path. I'm not a big company making huge money from this, but rather a one-man company with slim margins. I will give you a heads up before we reach that point so there is ample time to contemplate if you can afford this game or not.

General progress
Enough talk about fraud charges. Lets talk about the fun stuff! Apart from setting up the Pledge Manager, I’ve been working a lot on the editing of the English version and Eduardo on the Spanish one. It’s been ranging from graphical issues, spellings and unclear rules to balancing and added features. One such added feature are the Settlement cards. These were not initially part of campaign, but I felt they would make the overland travel easier and more immersive. Instead of having to reference the rulebook, you can now get a good overview of different settlements and the services they offer. The art added by Diego really helps make the settlements stand out. These cards are 120x80mm just like the reference cards.

LoD is no longer a game without art, that's for sure! Though most additions are related to the rulebook, this is an example of a physcial addon. All additions like this will of course be included in the upgrade package. I plan on making an update with all (well, almost) changes listed and discussed to help you get a feeling for what’s being done.

We've now come to a point where we've submitted a large portion of the material to Gameland to make the production prototypes. However, there are still some things to iron out and setup, like the standees and the main rulebook. The standee sheets are getting a colour marking and number this time to help backers (and packers) tell if they have got a complete set. One of the most frequent quality issues during the last campaign was duplicates of some standee sheets whilst others were missing. This should make the picking easier. The rulebook is 99% done, but there are still some changes to the flowcharts to be done to make them more appealing. In the end, we expect the production prototype to be finished by the end of the year. Then it's just a matter of small adjustments (there will surely be some) before we start production!

Non amo l'ambientazione di SoB. Sono più per il fantasy e questo sicuramente è un deterrente.
Inoltre quello che fa' LoD con una scatola, SoB lo fa con almeno altre due espansioni grandi e quella relativa al villaggio.
È anche vero che SoB ha le miniature e LoD no. Inoltre SoB soffre di troppa "monotonia" nel combattimento, cosa che LoD mi sembra un po' più dinamico.
SoB ha una sua crescita del PG ma LoD si avvicina a quanto più ci sia ad un GdR old school.
Per me inoltre è un plus quello di poter inserire qualsiasi regola più specifica in LoD rispetto a SoB. Per esempio nessuno ti vieta di dare nomi alle locande, con relativi prezzi e magari specifichi bonus o malus delle bevande, prese direttamente da altri GdR.
LoD mi permette di dare un'impronta più significativa al teatro della mente e, per me, questo è un plus come detto in sede di recensione
