Just a little heads up about Archons studio's past (from a thread about publishers with poor crowdfunding history on BGG), regarding this campaign:
Archon Studio:
AKA Prodos Games
AKA Load Board Game
''One of the seediest companies on KS. Constantly changes names to try and get away from their terrible track record. When asked about missing pledges (for a game that was actually shipped), the publishers not only refused to compensate, but literally used the "KS doesn't guarantee you'll get an item" line. Mind you, this wasn't some game that never hit the production line, this was a game that people received.

LOAD and RE-LOAD • Tons of people never got their painted miniatures ($250 extra) • People who backed the reprint got their games before some people who backed the initial print run • Fulfillment issues - missing components • Fulfillment issues - undelivered games

Demigods Evolution • Besides a lot of misinformation, it seems that the publisher either just skipped with the funds, or used it to push their other games out the door first. • Fulfillment issues - undelivered games

Vanguard of War (first print run) • Didn't honor "refund if unsatisfied" promise • Didn't honor free shipping promise • Retailed below KS price • Fulfillment issues - undelivered games

Alien Vs. Predator • As of 2018, now 4 years late. This is a game that was not only available in retail, but actually had a 2nd edition printed, and backers of the first KS still haven't gotten anything. • Fulfillment issues - undelivered games''

This is what is making me nervous about backing this game, when it was announced Archon had the licence for the EUR version, previous backers of them under the name of Prodos warned people to avoid them at all costs as they were so bad they had to change their name to avoid all the negative publicity. Didn't know they pulled this trick twice. Hoping Archon will put out some sort of statement clarifying the above and letting us know why we should trust them this time around...

Già conoscevo parte dei trascorsi di Archon (ex Prodos) su Ks ma non voglio farmi scoraggiare. Il gioco dei Masters mi attira troppo e proverò a correre il "rischio" con la speranza che abbiano imparato qualcosa dagli errori passati.

"Wolfenstein the boardgame" è stato il precedente progetto su Ks di Archon e sembra procedere bene con la produzione del gioco.
Perciò, resto fiducioso!

Grazie per questo utilissimo post! Altro che imparare dai propri errori o buttare soldi a fondo perduto! Questi cambiano pure nome alla compagnia per risollevarsi dalle spalate di M***A. Masters o non Masters questo lo salto allegramente!!!

In passato un altro Goblin portò all’attenzione di problemi su una compagnia che faceva ks: anche lì mancava la consegna dei ks precedenti.
Rimasi fuori e alla fine si rivelò un errore N quanto il progetto andò benissimo e fu consegnato.

Ora sono indeciso. Heman and Sleletor però…..

Io penso di partecipare comunque.

Ovviamente la decisione finale dipenderà molto dalle esclusive. Se c'è poco o nulla... potrei ripensarci ed aspettare l'eventuale uscita a retail.

nel mondo dei giochi di miniature non mi pare assolutamente una furbata. anzi, sono in molti a farlo.

guarda, fra le promo degli altri giochi e di questo masters, le ultime sono il male minore. alla fine si possono gestire tranquillamente con quello che contiene il gioco base.

capirei fossero carte uniche e importantissime. ma nella maggior parte dei casi sono promo inutili perché mal testate o sbilanciate.

non hanno consegnato le miniature? non mi pare.
anzi leggo che hanno rispedito anche 2/3 volte a chi è arrivata rotta.

come già detto è una pratica che fanno anche grosse società come gw.

del passato non posso parlare. ma non era quello l’argomento in oggetto.

Ah, ecco ... Tra l'altro ho visto il link al loro shop: se si fanno pagare 20 o più dollari per una miniatura, comincio a temere che l'all in sarà un salasso.
