ma quello della CMON che genere sarà?
Perché io per i Masters vedrei bene uno skirmish, con diversi scenari in campo aperto, attacco e difesa...
Già questo adventure lo vedo poco: quando giocavamo volavano mazzate tra fazioni rivali.

Io me lo immagino a scenari con un obiettivo principale e altri secondari e una valanga di tiles per comporre le varie mappe. Ovviamente, gli scenari dovrebbero essere composti da 2 Campagne (He-Man e Skeletor + Hordak e She-Ra come add-on a pagamento) con una componente narrativa di rilievo.

Tornando con i piedi per terra, presumo che avremo a che fare con un gioco American in tutto e per tutto e già questo me lo fa preferire a priori.

Chissà, forse salta fuori davvero uno skirmish, magari alla "Batman" della Monolith (con ben 2 scatole, una contenente le Forze del Bene e una quelle del Male e poi via di "millemila" add-ons!).

Masters of the Universe: The Board Game is a competitive co-op game which sees a group of players banding together to achieve their goals, all the while facing off against the Controller, a single player acting as the leader of the opposing side. When you and your group begin the game, the first choice you’re going to make is exactly which side is going to play, well, which side... As the group of players, you can elect to select characters from among the Heroic Warriors... or you could go the opposite route and play as the Evil Horde, effectively making Skeletor and his cohorts the “main characters” of this particular game.

Whichever side is not selected by the players will go to the Controller. Each player in the group will then select a singular character to play as, each with their own unique set of skills, abilities, and attacks. So during one game you and your friends could team up as He-Man, Teela, and Stratos to take on the forces of the Evil Horde (including their “loyal” Hover Robot minions, one of my personal favorites), and the next you could find yourself playing Evil-Lyn, Beast Man, and Trap Jaw attempting to conquer the mighty Heroic Warriors (and their brave Eternian Soldier reinforcements).

Throughout the game these characters will “Power Up”, unlocking new skills and capabilities. It’s the unique dynamic that each Characters brings to the table, combing efforts across the entire team, that will define your play-experience in eachgame. You’re going to need to rely on your teammates just as much as they rely on you if you are to achieve your goals!

Meanwhile, the Controller acts as the mastermind of the opposing force, using an asymmetrical, but very similar, set of rules. Like the team, you will control a group of characters as well. You won’t be unlocking skills or abilities with them as the game progresses, but that’s not to say you won’t have your own unique capabilities.

Plus, the Controller has access to the loyal Minions/Allies (Recall those Hover Robotsand Eternian Soldiers I mentioned before?)! While they are not nearly as strong as the iconic Heroes and Villains, they are useful in their own right, and always willing to aid the cause!

Strano però che Mattel abbia suddiviso le licenze su base geografica. In fin dei conti detengo i diritti dei Masters in tutto il mondo.

E' facile che qualche negozio nostrano si inventi qualcosa per farlo arrivare anche da noi d'importazione, magari stringendo accordi con qualche rivenditore a stelle e strisce (o almeno, è quello che spero!). Mi sembra strano che nessuno fiuti il potenziale affare di importarlo anche in Europa!! ...Stiamo pur sempre parlando di un gioco CMON e pure dei MASTERS!!! ...Cosa mai potrebbe andare storto nel provare a rivenderlo in Europa? ...Immagino che lo comprerebbero tutti!

si infatti, il rivenditore italiano si prende accordi in privato e si tiene la copia per sè per sfoggiarla/giocarci nel suo negozio

E' facile che qualche negozio nostrano si inventi qualcosa per farlo arrivare anche da noi d'importazione, magari stringendo accordi con qualche rivenditore a stelle e strisce (o almeno, è quello che spero!). Mi sembra strano che nessuno fiuti il potenziale affare di importarlo anche in Europa!! ...Stiamo pur sempre parlando di un gioco CMON e pure dei MASTERS!!! ...Cosa mai potrebbe andare storto nel provare a rivenderlo in Europa? ...Immagino che lo comprerebbero tutti!

Sicuramente faranno bene come con Dune in italiano e BRW con kit in ita annesso... ah dimenticavo pure il kit di Nova Aetas

Per non parlare di tutte le "promesse" di traduzioni, al momento, non mantenute!!

L'unica eccezione è stata la recente traduzione "Aliens AGDINC" con la speranza che sia il primo esempio di un deciso cambio di rotta.

Il problema credo sia più che altro che pledgiare sarà proprio precluso per gli utenti europei, quindi non è che ci sarà scelta, a meno di organizzarsi con qualcuno Oltremanica o Oltreoceano non si potrà fare altro che aspettare, confidando che trattandosi della CMON e di una IP così famosa ci sarà poi modo di averla anche da noi
