A me sembra un po' strano che non ci sia un solo avvocato, magari tra chi è stato raggirato, soprattutto in Francia, che abbia voglia di fare una causa. Si tratta comunque di cifre enormi.
Probabilmente questi si sono davvero dilapidati tutto e non ci si ricaverebbe nulla, boh.

Se è fallita puoi farci poco e, anche se loro si sono intascati una bella somma, da una società a responsabilità limitata non ci cavi fuori un ragno da un buco. Forse solo dimostrando che hanno prelevato soldi dall'azienda in modo non pulito ma è improbabile. Come CEO non è che abbiano bisogno di fare carte false per quello...

This is Leo. Things have gone way too far. I try to stay away from blogs and social networks as much as possible, but I've been told things that have been said and written that are presented as truths, and while I probably shouldn't interfere, I'm going to come here anyway (just now and that’s it) to set some things straight. Let me warn you up front: I will not be replying here anymore. I'm doing this just to protect my family and so that those who are capable of listening to me and sorting things out will have a different version of the "facts".



First of all, I'd like to sincerely apologize to all those who were deceived, who believed in us, who lost money, or who were simply disappointed. My thoughts are with you and I understand your disappointment and anger. I never thought this would end up like this. We did the best we could given the very difficult situation we found ourselves in. We tried to deliver as many games as possible instead of filing for bankruptcy. Maybe we should have done things differently, but you can be sure that we fought really hard and that a lot of things were stacked against us. We're still fighting, we're still waiting for some answers, some creditors have owed us money for months that we're trying to collect. When we get those final answers, we'll make an official statement. I'm very sorry for anyone who has lost money or confidence because of us.



Second, I'd like to correct a number of false rumors that are unfortunately being presented as facts.



- NEVER, I repeat NEVER, have we embezzled money. Neither Benoît nor I have, and if we are accused of doing so, we will defend ourselves vigorously. It's true that our payroll was too high because we chose to hire people whenever we could instead of hiring externals in precarious situations.

- Some people dig up everything about me, post on social networks or blogs like this one, I'm harassed and some members of these blogs make humiliating remarks. Others react by thinking that what is being described is the truth. It's understandable that if what's being said is true, there's reason to be shocked. But what I don't understand is the lack of hindsight and the lack of verification of information. People speculate on partial information, draw erroneous conclusions, and pass these conclusions on as fact. But this is a lie. Unfortunately, very few people have the hindsight to see that what is being said is wrong. And it's very painful to be systematically presumed guilty and to have to justify that you're not. In the French justice system (I assume it's the same in the US), you are presumed innocent and only answer to the law. We've had to do that for Mythic Games already, we may have to do it again, and so far the courts have always ruled in our favor. Social networks are not meant to be a public court where you can say anything with impunity.

I'm forced to give details of my personal life here, which is very uncomfortable. But I'll do it for those who are able to listen to me and make up their own minds:

- Neither Benoît nor I have paid ourselves since the beginning of Mythic Games' problems.

- Our personal financial situation is very difficult (I have a feeling that's what people want, so they'll be happy to read this).

- I've tried to get back on my feet by asking my family for help: my brother and father have invested 40K and 20K respectively in an investment company (I have to try to make a living). For my part, I've borrowed 40K from the bank, which I have to pay back.

- Some people are even saying that I have TWO companies with the same name, which is ridiculous. The court clerk made a mistake when registering the company, that's all. There’s only one company.

- My bank account is at zero, I live on what little I have and with the help of my wife.

- I don't own a home, I rent my apartment, I don't own a car, and fortunately my wife and family help me out.

- A few months ago (not recently, but I hope these new messages don't restart the machine) we were doxxed, we received death threats and I went to the police to file a complaint. Several times.

- Our company Mythic Games has failed, but we don't want to be victims and we accept this failure without minimizing it. As I said before, we're waiting for answers to certain outstanding questions before making a public announcement. Without seeking sympathy (again, we understand people's disappointment and anger), we don’t deserve these overreactions and harassment. Just because a company has problems or goes bankrupt doesn't mean its leaders are necessarily dishonest or incompetent. We're not criminals, we're just asking for the right to have our personal lives and families respected.

Salve bella gente, vi copio qua quello che potete trovare su Kickstarter e BGG. Se qualcuno lo vuole tradurre faccia pure ma non c’è veramente molto da dire. Leo spiega la sua situazione (quanto ci sia di vero lo sa solo Lui che scrive ) e quella di Mythic. In sintesi è “andato tutto in vacca” (per usare francesismi ah Ah…). Stanno aspettando alcune conferme prima di fare un update ufficiale ma personalmente ci credo poco che avverrà. A voi le considerazioni .

Poi per la nuova società possono vantare in cv di aver chiuso progetti da milioni di euro senza consegnare nulla e senza essere andati in prigione..........

E poi si ritornerà sulle solite domande, ma quei milioni CHE NON SONO STATI SPESI PER IL LORO REALE INCASSO donde son finiti? E i tributi che vi ha richiesto? Ed il fatto che il magazzino sia stato spostato in america lasciando, di fatto, tutti coloro che avevano crediti da spendere nel loro shop con in mano il cerino spento? Quanti sputi ha leccato mentre scriveva, sicuro con le lacrime agli occhi per meglio recitare la parte, quel messaggio alla Oliver Twist? A quando una miniserie Netflix su questo tragico evento costellato di minacce e di vite spezzate nel mentre vivendo una vita sotto la soglia di povertà con le pezze al culo?? Se mi dà l'indirizzo di casa glieli mando io 2 pacchi di biscotti, qualche pacco di pasta e qualche sugo....a no, son francesi, non sanno come si usano queste cose, loro mangiano il pane ammollato nel sudore dell'ascella così 3 aromatizzato alla cipolla (si scherza, state boni!)

Si scherza fino ad un certo punto... kickstarter non garantisce ma l'ultima richiesta arrivava dal suo sito. Ma non ho altro da dire che possa portare davvero qualcosa.

Come diceva un utente il 24 settembre, non c'è più 6 siege nello shop ne da nessun'altra parte nel sito, quasi che il progetto non fosse mai esistito, quindi mi sa che la questione di liquidità che nominava leonidas sarà la vendita dei rimasugli a qualche azienda, e visto che non ha più nulla nello shop ordinabile in Europa e che non ha mai dato la possibilità di acquistare 6 siege coi crediti, direi che anche quella situazione (crediti per acquistare) era una fregnaccia bella e buona, non c'è praticamente mai stato nulla da acquistare avendo spostato tutto in America. Quel maledetto se l'era studiata bene ma poi nemmeno tanto, si era già capito ma non si poteva fare nulla.
In molti avevate pagato il pizzo per avere qualcosa di DD?

Su facebook ho visto questa petizione contro la mythic game, vi incollo il testo originale.

As Backers, we have been deceived and robbed by MYTHIC GAMES and its partners and managers, Messrs. Benoît Vogt and Pascal Léonidas Vesperini, who raised funds via Kickstarter and Gamefound for projects they knew they would not be able to develop.


Until January 2024, they deliberately let people believe that the funds raised for the board games HEL: The Last Saga (17,757 contributors representing $2,215,842) and Anastyr (5,569 contributors representing $1,079,826) were used for their development and delivery to backers of the pledged games.


Worse still, they didn't hesitate to ask for and charge additional shipping fees to HEL: The Last Saga backers, on the pretext that the game was ready for delivery, when they weren't even in a position to produce it!


While the question of participatory financing and the risks taken by Backers in supporting a project may be raised on a moral level (the legal qualification of a sale being little in doubt today), asking for shipping costs to send an unproduced reward, which MYTHIC GAMES knew they were unable to produce, is nothing short of fraud punishable in France by five years' imprisonment and a fine of 375,000 euros (article 313-1 of the penal code).



Messrs. Vogt and Vesperini think they can hide behind the screens of the companies they have created, but they are also personally responsible for such actions.


We propose to unite in this petition some of the backers who have been taken advantage of by MYTHIC GAMES, in order to file a complaint against this company and its managers and then, for those who wish to do so, to initiate a collective action for damages, in order to protect consumer rights and send a strong message to other companies who might be tempted to follow their example.

It's time to unite our voices and demand justice. Sign this petition today to help put an end to these practices.

I signori Vogt e Vesperini pensano di potersi nascondere dietro gli schermi delle aziende da loro create, ma sono anche personalmente responsabili di tali azioni.

Proponiamo di unire in questa petizione alcuni dei sostenitori che sono stati sfruttati da MYTHIC GAMES, per sporgere denuncia contro questa azienda e i suoi dirigenti e poi, per coloro che lo desiderano, avviare un'azione collettiva per danni, al fine di proteggere i diritti dei consumatori e inviare un forte messaggio ad altre aziende che potrebbero essere tentate di seguire il loro esempio.

È tempo di unire le nostre voci e chiedere giustizia. Firma questa petizione oggi per contribuire a porre fine a queste pratiche.

Io firmo, tanto son 30 secondi e se anche solo questo gli può causare un attacco di emorroidi acuta almeno è stato qualcosa. Leggevo sulla loro pagina facebook che c'è gente che ha ordinato 6: Siege dal loro sito e non ha ricevuto nulla, e non riesce più a accedere al suo account tramite il reset della password. E hanno anche il coraggio di scrivere su BGG che non sono dei truffatori. Le uniche cose che penso di loro non sono scrivibili su un forum.

come citato da altri sul progetto kickstater è un tuo rischio... poi se perseguibile per legge o meno se ne può discutere.
Anche perchè non erano degli scappati di casa ne hanno avuti di progetti prima e dopo.
ma per il pizzo chiesto dal loro sito e il comportamento del loro store online non sono proprio puliti infatti su quello ci si appelerebbe per la truffa.... così leggo dalla pagina di redditt a loro dedicata!
