"The 2nd Edition is a major redesign. Mechanically, here are the three biggest differences:
- It's a drafting-&-racing game where you start each turn by choosing an itinerary. 1st edition was a set-collection-&-racing game where you start each turn by drawing cards with no thematic meaning.
- In the new edition, you can get special powers for free by going to various destinations, which can be played in combos for big turns.
- It has a solo mode.
There are many other changes as well. No rule is unchanged.
There are also component upgrades. For example, the art fills out more of each card, and the suitcases are now double-layered cardboard with slots for cubes, instead of cardstock.
