Lo trovo interessante anch'io. L'unico neo secondo me è che lo trovo graficamente un po troppo "asciutto"... soprattutto quello che si è visto delle carte. Capisco che la veste grafica forse è davvero la più storicamente accurata per lo stile romano, ma per un gioco da tavolo forse ci vuole qualcosa di più "scenografico" e accattivante... Non ho letto a fondo tutti gli aggiornamenti ma spero rivedano un po la cosa.

Su BGG l'autore sta continuando a scrivere su come sarà il gioco.

Le partite si vincono a 25 punti, ecco la lista:
I thought you might all like this little extract. The game is a race to 25VPs which then closes the game down and the rest of that turn is played out. It all gets very tense near the finish line. You can can win through many different paths - even trying the peaceful universal ally route.

ECONOMIC MIGHT - Gain 1VP if you raise 20-29 Gold in a single taxation phase or 2VP if you raise 30 Gold or more.
EXPANDING EMPIRE - Gain 1 VP for conquering an independent region for the first time.
GLORIOUS VICTORY - Gain 1VP for each victory or 2VP for each total victory. If an allied force, the side with the most card gets the benefit of a victory, and the other side the bonus VP from a total victory.
VICTORY AT SEA - Gain 1VP for sinking entirely an enemy navy.
FACTION ADVANCEMENT - Gain 2VPs for completing an entire column of developments on your faction board.
INVADING THE ENEMY - Taking an opponent’s home territory gives you 1VP plus 1VP per current gold value of the region and the losing player drops that many VPs.

You can probably see already the many different strategies you can follow and that economic might is as important as military victory. Choose your allies carefully too!

Altro mini aggiornamento da parte dell'autore nei commenti del crowdfunding, spero solo non stiano mettendo troppa carne sul fuoco per poi bruciarla tutta.

A quick update to all as the Xmas period has been rather busy for me. I will be doing a designer diary on it later in the week. In headline terms: a) now have 9 solo scenarios that are historical that you can play with a simple AI driven byt he action cards for the opposition. Small ones are things such as Caesar's Conquest of Gaul, and Hannibal descending from the Alps and trying to take Italy. These feel like about a 90 minute game so far. The big on is "build the Roman Empire" and that is quite a few hours of solo play. b) the BattePlay System is ready for revels to you all. It's great fun. It takes the cards from and army and has you deploy them on a 7-file battleground, with more interesting terrain features drawn from the map region (so lots of battlefield variety). The battle is then deployed and played out over about 15 minutes over 5 phases: artillery, missile, skirmish, impact, melee. Lots of interesting tactical decision to make. c) BattlePlay proving such fun i have started doing historical refights on it. Cannae is 4-1 to Carthage so far. I have in mind to put perhaps 12 famous battles from the era into the set and these can all be played solo from both sides as well. d) We have the factions set up for Alexander. Its a 5-faction game if played as a multiplayer, or a solo-play to follow Alexanders historical path. Macedon, Persian, India, Armenia, Egypt. e) I know PSC have been blasting ahead with the more final artwork for cards and the board. I've seen some card samples and really like them a lot. A gid improvement on the functional version we started with. Keep giving me feedback. There are always some fine ideas in there and I have built in 3 ideas from comments already. I am sure there will be more goodies that add to the mix. Simon PS Meanwhile we have just launched our renaissance tabletop rules called Renatio et Gloriam and our WW2 rules called Divisions of Steel are out next month. It's been very busy!! 17 gennaio inizio, non ho capito quanto durerà la campagna crowdfunding

Un sacco di modalità solitario! Capisco che ormai è un must, ma non è che inizia ad avere una prospettiva un po troppo simile al suo ispiratore per PC?
Alexander poi è una espansione di cui parlavano in uno degli ultimi update, vero? Immagino che questa espansione debba avere anche una estensione della mappa visto che coinvolge paesi come l'India, ma non mi pare ne abbiano parlato...

Hanno scritto che ci sarà almeno una mappa aggiuntiva, immagino durante il ks saranno di più ma ha pagamento.

Le tasse influenzano la popolazione, più le alzi peggio è se non hai costruito edifici specifici per la sommossa popolare

Eh si, l'espansione Alexander prevede di certo un nuovo tabellone visto che la scatola sembra grande quanto il base... da quel che si vede sembra praticamente un'altro gioco! E vedo anche delle belle monete in metallo... ahi ahi ahi...

Hanno spostato la data di inizio, adesso è il 20 gennaio.

Spero che nell'immagine che hanno messo siano tutte le espansioni senza altre sorprese, perché già adesso mi sembra che il costo per un all-in sarà altino

Partita la campagna, come immaginavo all-in è una mazzata, non hanno ancora messo se sarà localizzato o solo pdf, aspetto in attesa di nuove novità per poi decidere.

Io sono un po' deluso dagli SG. Hanno messo 3 categorie:
1- Delle miniature aggiuntive a quelle già presenti. Come dire "ne abbiamo messe meno delle necessarie per far spessore negli SG".
2- Fazioni aggiuntive che vengono incluse in un addon a pagamento.
3- Torri lanciadadi che vengono fornite come file .stl

Diciamo che peggio di così si fa fatica....

Si, sono d'accordo.
Però è il tipo di gioco che mi piace
Anche le espansioni mi piacciono. In parte aggiungono varietà e rigiocabilita, in parte modi nuovi di giocare.
Io aspetto chiarimenti sull IVA.

Se la vat non è inclusa si sforano i 300 euro per l'all-in. Ammesso che non aggiungano addon.

Ma chissà perché avevo assunto che fosse anche in italiano... invece no! Uff... Comunque come gioco mi ispira, ma non tutte le espansioni e si, gli stretch goals visibili per ora sono sostanzialmente nulli per un pledge base...
