Carissimi pelleverde,
sono stato contattato dalla Playmore Games, che sarà presente a PLAY Modena, e che sta cercando un volontario per la traduzione dall'inglese all'italiano della manualistica di Race to the North Pole. Per chi fosse interessato, vi riporto i due messaggi che ho ricevuto:
1) Primo messaggio
"We're attending the fair in Modena in the spring and also trying to find an Italian publisher for Race to the North Pole. The problem is that we don't have an Italian translation for the game manual yet. We have French, Spanish, Greek (etc. you can check them now at the Dized app) - and we really want an Italian one too! Do you know anyone who could help us out? We have a really easy and fast-to-use on-line translation system where you just fill out an google sheets file (that's why we've received already numerous translations in several languages.)
All we need is for the person to write correct and typo-free Italian (and preferably play board games
. We cannot really pay for the job,
but we'll be happy to deliver a copy of R2NP as a compensation. So if you know anyone, please let me know!"
2) Secondo messaggio
" The translation job would be about Race to the North Pole manual, cheat sheet and box texts. It can be done online in a
really simple to use form and it's been known to take around 6-9 hours, depending on the previous knowledge about the game and terms used in it for example. So for example reading your magazine would help![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
And as mentioned, we can deliver a game for compensation via mail or in the Modena expo. (And of course, name in the frontpage of the manual.)
I'm sure if there would be someone through Goblins the board game experience will be there, so besides that we only really require a good
grammar. Schedule isn't too busy, if we can get the translation a month before Play Modena, we can push and get some paper manuals printed to be given with copies sold there."
