Secondo me questo non e' crowfunding e' qualcos'altro, non comparerei questa situazione ad altre....

Il crowdfunding non è più questo da moooooolto tempo.

I progetto che sono veri progetti realizzati "dal basso" sono mosche bianche. Capisco che per alcune piccole realtà questo sia l'unico modo di reperire fondi per poter pubblicare/costruire cose, ma non è più il finanziamento di un idea ma un diverso modello di business.
Nel caso della Deer è qualcosa di ancora diverso che manco si avvicina al business ma più alla truffa.

Io pledgero' creatori in cui ho fiducia. Ci sono case editrici anche piccole di cui mi fido tipo City of games dell'inglese Frank West. Ogni volta che l'ho contattato e' stato super gentile e, per me, e' una persona molto corretta ed onesta. I suoi giochi sono cari, pero' arrivano sempre e sempre in anticipo e sono fatti bene. Se ti manca una componente, basta farglielo notare e te la invia subito. Per via di una mini espansione di The city of kings ho dovuto pagare la dogana a causa di un disguido e mi ha voluto rendere i soldi a tutti i costi in toto, in pratica mi ha regalato anche l'espansione.
Idem Pencil First Games e Ignacy.
Anche la casa editrice di Age of comics mi e' sembrata molto corretta, almeno per ora.

Pero' ad es. per Frosthaven ho fatto la follia e l'ho acquistato ora. I giochi della Celophair costano non poco e ci vogliono anni e anni prima che arrivino. Anche Gloomhaven l'avevo preso in negozio. Non me la sento di rischiare un crowdfunding. Vecchia o nuova edizione al mio livello (non sono esperta al punto da notare possibili errori di bilanciamento etc...) non fa la differenza.

Su Elf Creek Games incrocio le dita...hanno fatto un po' di pasticci con le spese di spedizione, anche se alcuni sospettano che abbiano gestito male il progetto. Ho l'impressione che non abbiano fatto pagare la VAT durante la campagna, ma che ora si siano trovati costretti a pagarla per tutti i backers. Gli ho fatto una donazione...speriamo di risolvere. Alcuni backers di troveranno invece obbligati a pagare la differenza se vogliono avere il gioco.

I problemi mi paiono anche causati dai tempi biblici per avere il gioco. La casa editrice parte con una certa situazione economica globale, poi, per vari motivi, i tempi di produzione si dilatano ed i prezzi di carta, trasporto e quant'altro cambiano e si trovano nelle peste.
Oppure si trovano nelle peste, per gl istessi motivi, con le campagne precedenti e coprono con i soldi delle nuove campagne. Un macello.


Frank West ad esempio fa un progetto e ne ripropone un altro solo quando il primo e' realmente terminato. Allora ci sono meno casini.

Robert Letsch appare essere l'amministratore delegato della Happyshops. Poi se e' uno che ha messo un profilo falso su facebook non lo so. Usa la stessa immagine anche su linkedin. Logo=spiele-offensive.de
Mi sembrerebbe assurdo architettare un'immagine ed un profilo falso per Chang'an..non mi sembra ne valga la pena.
Comunque io non ci sono su facebook, la cosa mi e' stata segnalata, magari se avete l'account potete capire meglio come sta la situazione.

Penso che la speranza di avere un po di giustizia stia nelle mani degli autori che potranno denunciare sti farabutti per non aver rispettato il contratto con loro

La Deer Games è una srl.
La responsabilità è limitata ai fondi rimasti in cassa (quindi 0) e non si trasmette agli amministratori a meno di provare il dolo; cosa al limite dell'impossibile.
Ogni speranza di giustizia è solo una pia illusione.

Over the past two years, we have relentlessly requested Deer Games informations about the release of our game and about the royalties and fees they due for our work. They never replied.

Unfortunately, Deer Games' intentions remain unclear on all fronts, making the project increasingly at risk. For this reason, we have appointed a lawyer at our own expense trying to get the situation clear, but, they replied to our lawyer only with elusive emails avoiding to give any useful information and pretending to ignore the contracts they signed with us.

It seems that Deer Games have no intention of completing the project. Moreover, it has dropped a veil of silence, perhaps hoping that the project will be forgotten. We should not allow this to happen, out of respect for our work and the commitment of the backers.

Unlike Deer Games, which shows a worrying absence in communication, we have always been transparent and will continue to be so, proud of our work and eager for everyone to appreciate it.

It is essential to clarify that our role is limited to that of external authors and developers. In this capacity, we suffer damages no less than those of the backers who funded the project. We wish to state this with unequivocal clarity: Deer Games has received the entire project funding and still owes us royalties and fees, as stated in the contract executed between us and them.

This economic damage is compounded by possible image damage. Not everyone is aware of how the world of game publishing works and might mistakenly attribute responsibility for these delays to us. However, we have always respected the delivery times of the work and have never had access to the funds collected by Deer Games from the backers.

In conclusion, if the game is not published in its original form, the responsibility will be solely Deer Games. We are ready to prove this anytime, without hesitation.

However, we do not bring only bad news.

We have found another publisher willing to resolve the situation and publish the game at their own expense (this publisher, boasting over a decade of expertise in board game production, is dedicated to fulfilling all legitimate requests from the Backers).

Unfortunately, and incredibly, Deer Games has not even responded to the request for preliminary contact with this new publisher, risking losing an exceptional opportunity. Nevertheless, we maintain hope that a favorable resolution can be achieved for all parties involved. We will keep you updated on any developments in this matter.
