As an entrepreneur, your goal is to develop your slice of this ever-growing city. With investor backing, you will construct bridges to connect islands, establish production buildings, and manufacture valuable goods for export. Every successful endeavor earns you prestige. The player who accumulates the most prestige by the end of the game will be crowned the winner. In Canals of Windcrest, players will draft location cards that will gain them resources and special actions. Resources are used to construct bridges and buildings, and also manufacture export goods. Navigate the canals with flying whale ferries to deliver exported goods while also transporting citizens and foremen to gain various bonuses. Players will also have investors to help them in various ways, including special powers and end game scoring bonuses. Prestige is gained in various ways; from constructed bridges and buildings, exporting goods and satisfying investor expectations.
