World of Warcraft: bestiario

Giocando con amici mi sono sorte domande sull'origine di certi mostri che si incontrano durante il gioco: chi sono i crociati Scarlet? e i Guerrieri del Destino? Esiste online un bestiario che spieghi le razze e i mostri di WoW? E magari anche la storia del gioco e di certi luoghi e Mostri finali...

Se sai l'inglese, c'è wowwiki dove troverai tutte le risposte.
I crociati scarlet sono (a grandi linee) gli abitanti di Lordaeron che sono rimasti umani e che, plagiati da un demone, si ritengono gli unici immuni alla non-morte e tentano di uccidere chiunque altro.
I guerrieri del destino immagino siano le doomguards, che sono semplicemente un tipo di demoni...
Per il resto è un po' complicato rispondere a tutte le tue domande, forse troverai qualcosa su wikipedia o cercando cose relative ai videogiochi della serie (la cosa migliore sarebbe giocarli )

Scarlet Crusade
"The Scarlet Crusade is a religious organization dedicated to the eradication of the undead. They are a major adversary of the Forsaken, and several quests in Tirisfal Glades involve attacks on Scarlet Crusade troops, leaders, and strongholds. The Scarlet Crusade maintains several bastions throughout the former lands of Lordaeron, namely the Scarlet Monastery, Hearthglen, New Hearthglen, Tyr's Hand, the fortified cathedral of Stratholme, and several smaller camps and watchtowers spread throughout the area. It is also the only hierarchy left of the Kingdom of Lordaeron after its destruction by the Scourge."

Praticamente sono una fazione/culto di Umani(zeloti al limite della pazzia),che però annoverano tra le loro file pure elfi e qualche nano.Questa fazione si dedica a combattere i Non-Morti di Sylvanas(Undead selezionabili in WoW).Possiedono diversi castelli/monasteri da dove fanno partire gli ordini per le loro 'crociate' e sono stanziati nella regione del Lordaeron.

Doomguard
"The Doomguard, or doom guard,MoM 11 appears to be a class, caste, or rank within the ered'ruin, tarshesite, and fiends. However, it is also used as a Common race term for the base species as well. They are a part of the Burning Legion. Ered'ruin may be the Eredun term for the "tarshesite" race.
When mortals recall the brutal terror of the Burning Legion’s armies, they likely think first of the doomguard. These ironfisted demons serve as the Burning Legion’s captains and generals. Countless worlds have fallen to their brilliant and ruthless military tactics."
Le Doomguards non sono altro che demoni richiamati dalla Burning Legion per comandare le armate di demoni quando invasero il mondo di WoW.Rivestono il ruolo di capitani o generali per la loro alta abilità tattica di predisporre al meglio le armate in battaglia(e anche per la loro forza nel comandare aggiungerei).
Può anche essere un 'pet' cioè uno demone-schiavo(se si può usare il termine),un servitore demoniaco al servizio del Warlock.Esso può essere richiamato dal caster solo al raggiungimento del 60mo livello dopo avere completato una quest e aver acquistato il giusto 'reagente' per la convocazione.

"Nefarian (aka Blackwing), eldest son of the infamous Deathwing,is a powerful black dragon who leads black dragonflight on Azeroth. In his human guise, he is known as Lord Victor Nefarius, Lord of Blackrock. Holding the Blackrock clan and various clans of ogres under his dominion, Nefarian rules from his lair at the top of Blackrock Spire.
Nefarin è il figlio più vecchio del malefico Deathwing,potente drago nero che capeggiava la guerra su Azeroth.Nella sua forma umana è conosciuto come Lord Victor Nefarius, Signore di Blackrock, tiene sotto il suo dominio il clan Blackrock e vari clans Ogre dominandolo dal suo dungeon sito in Blackrock Spire.


Kel'Thuzad
"Kel'Thuzad, the Archlich of the Plaguelands, was one of the principal agents of the Lich King responsible for the spreading of the plague of undeath across Lordaeron.After being slain by Arthas during the events of the Third War, he was reborn as a lich. He aided Arthas in summoning Archimonde the Defiler, commander of the Burning Legion. However, Kel'Thuzad's true loyalty was with the Lich King and not the Burning Legion. When Arthas left for Northrend during the events of The Frozen Throne, he left Kel'Thuzad as his agent to command the Scourge in Lordaeron. He previously commanded over the Plaguelands from his necropolis Naxxramas which floated above Stratholme. Naxxramas, and thus also Kel'Thuzad, now reside in the eastern part of the Dragonblight in Northrend where he once more serves the Lich King.

Kel'Thuzad was one of the undead heroes during the Undead campaigns in Warcraft III. In World of Warcraft, he is the final boss in Naxxramas, an end-game raid instance that was introduced in Patch 1.11. In World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, Kel'Thuzad can be found alive in Old Hillsbrad Foothills in the Escape from Durnholde Keep wing of the Caverns of Time. "
Kel'Thuzad è stato il braccio destro del Re dei Lich e il maggior responsabile della piaga dei non-morti in Azeroth.Fu sconfitto da Arthas durante la terza guerra e poi rinacque come Lich.Aiutò in seguito Arthas per evocare Archimonde,demone comandante delle Burning Legion.Egli detta gli ordini del King Lich da Naxxramas,necropoli situata nella zona est delle Dragonblight in Northrend,dopo che Arthas lo ha lasciato per comandare The Scourge nel Lordaeron.


"Kazzak the Supreme is a powerful ered'ruin doomguard commander. Once commanding the forces of the Burning Legion in the world of Azeroth, Kazzak was responsible for the reopening of the Dark Portal, and has since relocated to Outland, where he commands the Legion's armies there against all who would oppose them.

Kazzak il Supremo è una potentissima doomguard ered'ruin.
Una volta comandava le forze della Burning Legion nel mondo di Azeroth,poi fu il responsabile della riapertura del Portale Oscuro,localizzato nelle Outland e da li comanda le forze della BL contro tutti coloro che gli si oppongono.
E' anche conosciuto come il braccio destro di Kil'jaeden e signore dei demoni Doomguard,Kazzak fu uno dei più fedeli tenenti di Archimonde durante la Terza Guerra.

Ho postato solo un piccolo estratto della storia dei personaggi che hai chiesto,perchè a dire il vero ci sarebbero tante altre cose da tradurre.Però penso che come info generali siano sufficienti.

Mi sento di cuore di aggiungere che Nefarian e Lord Kazzak in game sono molto forti, o meglio ai tempi in cui il livello massimo era il 60, erano veramente degli ossi duri. Lord Kazzak in particolare ricordo che bisognava ucciderlo in pochissimi minuti altrimenti diventava invincibile e continuamente si doveva dispellare, leggi annullare le magie, che lanciava addosso ai giocatori.
