Morkin: The Lords of Midnight Solo Adventure Game is a single-player fantasy tabletop adventure, inspired by The Lords of Midnight — the epic strategy and adventure game created by Mike Singleton and first released for the ZX Spectrum in 1984.

You will step into the role of Morkin as he embarks on his quest to destroy the Ice Crown. Played on a hexagonal map, the game blends role-playing elements with strategic exploration and adventure. All you need to play Morkin is the book, a pencil, an eraser, a few dice — and your imagination.
Some features of the game includes:
- A comprehensive 290-page book, featuring rules, a bestiary, a highly detailed hexagonal map, and an abundance of events, side quests, and gameplay tables.
- High-quality artwork in a distinctive OSR style, created by Miguel R.Mata.
- A character sheet for Morkin, showing his attributes (Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Charisma) and 16 skills, allowing you to tailor his traits to your play style. Improve Morkin’s attributes and skills as you gain experience throughout the game.
- An Adventure Sheet to track the calendar, Ice Fear level, weather conditions, and a dedicated battle board.
- Over 170 events and side quests to immerse you in the world.
- Dungeon exploration with ruins and caverns, where you’ll map out rooms as you discover them.
- Different Sites with possible events, encounters, and actions to take… (for example, in a village, you may buy and sell items, rest at an inn, trigger an event, have an unpleasant encounter, etc…). There are citadels, keeps, towers, henges, villages, snowhalls, lakes, liths, caverns, and ruins scattered across the map.
- Advanced travel mechanics, including a calendar, dynamic weather, orientation, camping, foraging, hunting, fishing, and more.
- Recruitable companions to join your journey, inspired by the original game.
- An advanced combat system using dice rolls for special attacks, strategic decision-making, unique enemy moves, critical hits, fumbles, and more.
- Condition mechanics — such as Hunger, Fatigue, Poisoning, and Bleeding — to enhance realism and challenge.
- A variety of unique items to buy, sell, or acquire from enemies.
- Over 30 enemy types, including Doomdark’s troops and followers, Skulkrin, Ice Trolls, and Dragons.
- More than ten named enemies, each with special characteristics.
- 20+ gameplay tables to manage a wide range of situations during your adventure.
