You are the Exiled Prince. Catching your breath, halfway up the neverending stairs of Umbar. Your sword is broken yet your heart still beats under your breastplate. So many steps beneath you. So many yet to climb... Hark! is a short, printable, randomly-generated, replayable, solo fantasy adventure. The goal of the game is to climb 100 stairs before running out of one of the three main resources: Blood, Sweat, or Tears. Over the course of the game, a player will roll dice to determine what they will encounter on a given turn, with each turn represented by the player climbing stairs. Can you survive the long, treacherous path to the top of the stairway and face the dreaded "FINAL CHALLENGE"? Only those that persevere will live to tell the tale. —description from the designer
